After a few week hiatus, we got back into our home improvement groove this weekend.
Crystal and I painted the dock. We did a couple of base coats and topped it all off with a deck paint. Crystal did a great painting the dock strong arms!
Dad and Jonathan installed our flagstone. Jonathan mixed up the thin-set concrete…

Mom Ping came into town and we had a busy week!
On Saturday, Crystal and I took Elton to the Hawaii Cavalier Playgroup. There were over 30 cavalier’s and Elton got to play with all of his friends.
Mom Ping got into town on Sunday, and she cooked a HUGE feast for my family. Here’s a picture of the remains– dumplings, shrimp stuffed peppers, ginger chicken, steamed greens, and beef with eggs. Mmm…
On Friday, we went to Julie’s house to catch the 4th of July fireworks. They shot the fireworks from the water, and we had such a beautiful view from the beach.
We said goodbye to Mom Ping on Saturday. Later that day, I got to catch Jonathan’s doubles match at the Oahu club. His team won 6-1, 6-0!
After a long week, we had a ton of laundry, and Elton “helped” by snuzzeling into our stinky clothes.
